My Opinion Regarding Magical Gift Company...

I read couple of articles about Magical Gift Company and surprised how many people think that this is a slave labor!

The projects are difficult to make and in the beginning, it will take you many many many times to make a satisfactory piece, as everyone knows.
But I'm still happy to work for them and there are many reasons why I like this company.

So, I decided to tell you about my experience with them.

Last summer, I decided to order one kit (Wool Sheep).
When I got the kit, I realized that I needed a glue gun to make the sheep.
I didn't wanna buy an expensive one because I was still skeptical about this company, so I went to Walmart and bought a normal and 'affordable' glue gun (fine point one).

I started to make it, but it was sooooo hard!
Of course, I didn't pass the first time.
Then, I practiced wrapping the wool many times. However, I still didn't pass the second time, either.

So, I practiced more! Every day, I just practiced wrapping over and over!!
I wrapped it, unwrapped it, wrapped it...
It was very frustrating.

And then, I sent the third sample in. I passed it!! It took me about 3 months from when I first received the kit!

After that, I received the materials to make 10.
I was so happy that I could finally make some money with this wool.
But, this first 10 was very difficult, too.
It took me a week to finish!! Moreover, NEC said that the legs were too long and the heads were too big. :(
If you have made some mistake, your total shipment amount won't be increased, so I received 10 materials 3 more times after that.

I was thinking that I wanted to make $450, but I'm just making only $10 and spending a week for only $10!!!

I'm sure that everyone will think about this like me.
Even if you could pass the trial, you can't make money so easily.

Like I mentioned in the previous posts, hang in there! Don't quit yet!!

When I received materials for 50, I started to think what is the best way to make these as fast as possible and as neat as possible.

At this time, I stopped thinking about their instructions.
I made my own way to make sheep.
The difficult part is to wrap the wool. At that time, it took me an hour to wrap 1.
You know, it's funny. After I made my list, I started to improve my skills!
I could wrap 3 in an hour.

Now, I can wrap 5 or 6 in an hour.
It's been about a year since I started this crafting.
I listen to my favorite songs while I'm making sheep. I don't watch TV because I hate to be distracted by watching.
I'm sure that I will be able to wrap 10 or more next year.
That's why I am strongly telling you not to give up just after a couple months!

The first couple months, I think most of the people who try the crafting quit.
I was not good at crafting at all.
Actually, I hated crafting to be honest with you...
But, here I am! I am a crafting worker! I make some awesome pieces, too!
And also, I've never bought their DVDs. I didn't want to spend money to start working.
Don't worry, I can make it without the DVDs, you probably can, too!

Since I was approved as a sheep crafter, I ordered more projects one by one. Now, I am approved for a total of 5 projects. Then, I can solve the problem of waiting a long time for materials between projects. :)

Actually, they keep me pretty busy. In the beginning, each project made me nuts, but it will be fine as I make more of them. (I'm not planning to add more because 4 or 5 projects are enough to cover the waiting time!)

I still use the same glue gun I bought last year.
Some people buy many brands to find the good quality one, but you really don't need to do that.
Plus, the cost of supplies will be covered by the company. In the forum, you might see some people buy extra supplies to make projects. Each crafter has their own way to make them. I don't buy any extra materials because if the supplies are short, I simply call NEC and they'll send the supplies right away.
You can minimize your costs like me.

I didn't use the forum or call the company to get help for the sheep, but I could make it.
Of course, you can get help from the, they have a great forum, and I like it. They have great customer service, too.
After I started to make sheep, I realized what the people at NEC like or dislike, so the other projects were easier to pass.

It takes time to get used to it.
That's why I wouldn't call it slave labor.

*** Sorry. I tried to keep it short, but it's too long!!

What is IP Address?

When you are working on an ad posting job, you will hear about IP addresses.
It sounds difficult but it is simple.

An IP address is an electronic address which identifies your computer on your network. Some Internet providers change your IP address regularly. This is called a dynamic IP address. Some Internet providers keep your IP address the same. This is called a static IP address. With cable internet, it's common to have a dynamic IP address. With DSL or dial up Internet, it is static. Your IP address is recorded when you shop online or post comments or articles to online forms or blogs. Also, many online classified sites, like Craigslist, record your IP address, so it's easier to find spammers or people who post duplicate ads.

When I started posting ads on Craigslist, I didn't even need a phone-verified account. I just needed to put in my email address, and Craigslist sent me a message to post my ads. However, at some point, I couldn't post ads without a phone-verified account even if my ads were in the for-sale category ( Some categories need phone-verified accounts, such as the service category.)

===> This is because Craigslist identified me as posting more than I should by my IP address.

Some companied sell programs that switch your IP address around so that you can keep posting on Craigslist. I tried a few free programs but they were really complicated and it didn't work out very well. If you want to get software that supposedly changes, switches, or "randomizes" your IP address, be very, very careful. If you pick the wrong one, expect to be on the phone with and be hand-held by your ISP's customer service while they get you back online. A word to the wise.

How to determine if your ads are flagged by Craigslist or normal people

You might wonder if it's really important to know why your ads are removed from Craigslist.

If you are working as an ad poster, you really want to find out why.

First of all, ad removal affects your phone verified account.
If you get too many flags, your account will be stopped quickly even if the account is a newer one.
So, the best thing is to know how to keep your account active and safe.

You will get notice by Craigslist if your ads are removed by the Craigslist admin., assuming they are not ghosted(which means that your ads appear to be fine, with no notice, but they don't show up on CL ad pages).
It simply says that your ads are removed from the lists.
This means, your ads are too easy to be determined as duplicates.
In this case, take great care to change your ads!!
Because shortly, Craigslist will stop your account.

If your ads are removed by normal people, you won't get a notice at all.
It'll just be removed, or flagged for removal.
But, this means, your ads will be flagged for some reason in Craigslist soon.
Those ads removed by normal people are not as important as removed ads by Craigslist, they can flag them for any reason, basically. I had a guy that I found out was flagging my ads because he was posting ads for a competing product! There are a LOT of haters and self-appointed CL cops on craigslist, beware!
However, if you get too many removed by other CL users, Craigslist will also stop your account.

Now, you see the trick.
The removal from Craigslist means, you have to change your contents soon.
The removal by other users mean that you're being warned. You need to change the contents if you get too many flags.

WAHM.com

I think that everyone knows about this site.

WAHM.com is here.

I won't say that all of the jobs that this site lists are good, but this site has a very good forum, so you can post and get help from other people.

Whenever you worry about some companies, just go there and search if other people have posted about them.

How to post the same ad on Craigslist??

If you don't know about HTML code, this is the way to post the same ads on Craigslist.
I think that you already know that Craigslist prevents duplicates. You cannot post the same ad even if you change the states, cities, countries, etc.
When I started to post ads, this was a big problem because Craigslist's system reads & scans the first and second sentences you post, as well as other parts (which change frequently).

So, you really don't need to change other sentences, what you need to change is the first & second sentences.
Now, it becomes a bit easier!
You simply post easy greetings if it is difficult to make extra sentences; for example, "Happy holidays!"
However, sometimes they don't read the exclamation mark "!" and question mark "?", but only the period ".".

If they didn't read those, change the sentence to "Happy holidays."

You can also change around the placement of both sentences.

For example, if you post "Happy holidays! Are you looking for a great deal on a car?"

The next post, you can do "Are you looking for a great deal on a car? Happy holidays!"
Sometimes, this will come back as a duplicate, but it still works sometimes.

Also, if you have some pics you are posting, it is possible to be "ghosted".

(Ghosted ads mean the ads are gone even though your accounts show that your ads are successfully posted. You can't find your ads on Craigslist, either.)

I think it's because of the same pics.
Does it sound like too much work to post ads?

No worries.

Craigslist's system searches for duplicates from Monday to Sunday.

This means, you can't use the same sentences for a week; however, you CAN post the same sentences that you posted a week ago.

So, Monday is always the easiest day to post ads :)

Is New England Crafters (Magical Gift Company) a Scam?

Many people worry if Magical Gift Company is a scam.

This is a real job.

You get paid for what you work. However, you don't get paid that much.
Once, you are approved as a crafter, you receive more materials.
Many approved workers struggle at this time because the products take too much time, even for just 10!
Some crafters can take 2 to 3 days to make 10, but some workers take up to a week.

It's very difficult. NEC is a real company to sell what you make, so they always need good products and workers.

Of course, you can make it! But you need to make all of them perfect otherwise, your products will be rejected and you won't get paid.

This company, NEC, is very legitimate, and has great customer service. If you need help or have questions, you can call New England Crafters or go to their forum. They have a great forum for the crafters who need help to get approved.

However, there are many complaints for this company.

Why?
Because, many people realize that they won't get paid as much as they want (If it takes 2 days to make 10 $1 projects, the pay is $5 a day), or they can't pass their inspections for a long time, etc.
It could be many reasons.

They never say to quit because you can't pass. Some crafters require doing the inspections over 7 or 8 times before they are approved and start to work. You also have to wait until your inspection comes back. It takes about 2 to 3 weeks. If your inspection was approved, you'll see your name on their "Newly Approved Assemblers" list.

For me, this job is not for everyone who is looking for a work at home opportunity.

Then, who is good for this company?
Just go to their website and check it out.
You realize that the workers are either retired people, moms who need to stay at home for babies, college students, etc.
They are all busy doing something else.
This job is good for those people, I think. The workers are all happy that they can have a work at home opportunity including myself.

If you think you have a lot of time and can make many as a full time worker, just take a minute and think it over.
You really can't work with this company full time.
The company is always busy, so sometimes, the shippment for the projects don`t come for over a month.
Some people call this company up and try to hurry them, but they are going as fast as they can.
So, you really can't decide how much you can make in a month, it's really up to when you receive the shipment.
I would say this is a part time job.

Don't make a decision yet!
Once you are approved, and make 10 pieces, you realize that this is way too much.
I think you may have read a couple of websites about those difficulties.
Yes, during the first 10 pieces, and the next one, at first, you might think this is a slave job. (Because you get paid $1 for a piece, and it might take even 3 hours to make one! )
But, as you make their products, it will become easier and faster, so if you just started, hang on for couple months!

I always think these difficulties are nothing when you consider using gas to go to a job.
You have no boss and you don`t have to travel.
It's good for people who need a little extra money.

Some of the crafters have main full time jobs and work as crafters part time.
You can be at home at night and make products while listening to your favorite music or something.

You can also post and ask a question to real workers on their forum. They are all nice and love to help each other!
You just need to be patient with them. Very patient!

Phone Verified Account

As you'll notice, you will need phone verified accounts to post massive amounts of ads and for some categories.

How and where you purchase them, then?
You can buy them on the internet.
They sell accounts.

As an example, see this site. ---> http://www.phoneverifiedaccounts.net/ ( I never bought accounts from this site!! I just posted this site as an example! )

It's kind of expensive. One account sells for $6 on this site. 10 accounts for $50!!
If you are an ad poster, you don't wanna do that...
I posted about GetAFreelancer before. ---> https://www.getafreelancer.com/
You can purchase accounts much cheaper here.
As a buyer you can post the ad there and people will bid on you. ( You can try it for free one time! )
* Before you decide to send money to the provider, please make sure that the accounts are active, because, some people are scamming and selling used accounts, inactive accounts, etc.

When you post the ad on GetAFreelancer, make sure you put "Western phone accounts only!" You don't wanna buy phone #s from overseas :)

It is wrong not to pay for the accounts, but it is fine to make sure everything is okay before you send the money.
Whenever I do jobs through the Internet, I make deals with providers so that we won't waste our time in some kind of disagreement.
Everyone knows that.
If someone says to pay first, or pay immediately, you really wanna make sure that everything is fine.

I was scammed a lot on providers like those!!
You might be scammed even if you take extra care, so just start with a small amount of money.

Many people at GetAFreelancer are buying 100s of accounts at once.
You can do that, but please be careful.
Like I did, you can find real providers.

Ezadposter

Ezadposter is a program to post ads on Craigslist automatically.
I used it a couple times.
Yes, it is easy. I admit that, however, Craigslist is not that easy. They change the system often so that they can prevent third parties from posting ads.

Although you really don't need an ad posting program, at some point, when you start to post a lot of ads, like 300 ads per day, you'll realize that it's impossible to manage posting by hand.

Ezadposter automatically posts ads for you.

I used Ezadposter deluxe.

First, set up your account information. You put your CL account in Ezadposter and some other things like categories. It's very simple and easy.

Second, you need content. Maybe, your provider will give you the content or you can make it on your own.
Whichever it is, you simply copy and paste entire ads in it.

Third, just click "start publishing" ( I forgot what it says. Because, I no longer use it. )

They start publishing ads; however, they can't automatically enter the capcha, unless you want to pay extra.

That's it!

If they successfully publish it, they will say success or something or other with a green color. But, if they failed, they will say fail or something with red... ( Sorry, I really forgot. )

If they failed, you just run the ads again.
It took me about 30 minutes to post 100 ads. But, the time for you may vary.
Because, I was posting ads so many times before that, my ads failed many times!
As long as you work as an ad poster, it would be difficult.

No worries!! There are many ways to deal with those difficulties!

Now, I wanna warn you about purchasing these kind of programs.
First go to the Ezadposter website. You can download an Ezadposter trial for free.
I believe that I could use it for a month or so...
Ezadposter is pretty expensive, so just trying the free program first would be good.

Plus, because CL keeps changing their system, one Ezadposter version won't last long.
I mean, my boss offered me Ezadposter (which he bought before but couldn't manage), and it didn't work for me anymore.

CL was able to identify his Ezadposter already so it blocked me out.
He said, he purchased it about 3 years ago It was the full version!
So, if you are thinking about purchasing Ezadposter, buy the most current one.
Be careful. I think there are many scammers trying to sell the old version, too.
Like I did, you might choose to go back to manual posting.

You have to be in front of the PC to type the capcha.

Ezadposter fails a lot, sometimes, so you might have to run it 5 or 6 times or more to post the ads successfully.
If you think positively, you can read a book while posting and simply type the capcha and get paid, it might sound good to you so check it out...

I don't want to say it's bad or good, because Ezadposter helped me a lot when I used the free trial :)

Post Ads on Craigslist & Tips I Found

As I mentioned on previous post(May 23, 2009), Craigslist banned ad posters as a business.
So, they change the system often to prevent ad posters.

I'll tell you about my first ad posting job...

I started to post 20 ads per day at rate of $.50 per a post(manual), which $.50 per post is a really good deal... the average rate is $.10-.20. Rates do vary. It depends on which category you post, how many hours the ad needs to stay on Craigslist, Manual or Automatic, and so on.

My promise to my provider was to make a spreadsheet of ad links and send it to him everyday.
My posts must stay 48 hours and the flagged posts and ghosted posts were unpaid.

At this time, I didn't need a phone verified account to post ads in the sales category. You need phone verified accounts to post to the jobs category, service category, sexual category, and other categories!!

--->Be careful if posting in the sexual category!! It's extremely DIFFICULT!!!! ---> Why? How to post? --->Details are coming soon!

My provider sent me the ads he made, and I copied & pasted them on Craigslist.
However, you cannot simply copy & paste.
Craigslist prevents posting the same ads!!

--->How to post the same ad then??

So, I made $10 per day and I spend only 15 minutes to post all ads every day. Sweet!!

Some providers specifically prefer manual posts and those providers know that it is a bit expensive. But many of them do not care which way you post.

Manual posts are one of my niches, so I negotiated the rate with my provider.

My provider asked me to post more ads.

I started 50 posts at a rate of $.50. (Total earning $25 a day)

That wasn't so hard.

Then, the provider increased posts to 300 ads per day!

At the point, we negotiated about the rate, and decreased to $.45 per post. (Total of $135 per day. This is still a good deal!)
And he provided me Ezadposter which he bought it before and couldn't manage. I will post about Ezadposter soon, so I won't mention it here, but this program is a problem, too!
*** It is posted now! June 15, 2009***
---> Go to Ezadposter

Also, I needed phone verified accounts at this time. If you post too many times, even though you are posting ads in the sales category, you will be required to get an account.

---> Phone Verified Account.

This was a nightmare...

I had to spend all day posting the ads!!
Because, Craigslists deleted a couple of the ads as overposted, and people started to flag my ads!
You can tell the difference if the ads are flagged by Craigslist or normal people.

--->How?

You know attractive ads and unattractive ads.
People disregard ads posted many times.

I do. I don't flag them, but don't read them.

It started to do my ads. I got less responses, and my provider, of course, was unsatisfied with that.
So, we decided to reduce the ads to 60. ($27 per day)

Craigslist keeps updating the system, so I suggested starting with a few postings per day.
You might want to know about IP address, too.

--->What is IP address?

But, don't stop doing ad posting when you meet these difficulties.
Hang on to the posting job!
You will get some technique where you can manage these!!
I was very new when I started.
You might work all day for free like I did to know about the Craigslist system.

But still, it's extra money!

Process at Home Review

Please stay away from this site!!

Process at Home Review : http://www.reviewopedia.com/process-at-home.htm

I made a BIG mistake right now...

I was reviewing past posts and thought to add more content for the Process at Home post.

While I was searching about this company, I found Process at Home Review.

This site asks you to fill in a blank (name & email address), and they send you the details.

As soon as I received the email, I realized that I made a same mistake that I did one year ago!!!

I'm sure that this site sells my email address... That is what happened to my old email account.

Every day I received bunch of spam!!!

I wanna warn you to stay away...

Angel Pin Creations *** A BIG SCAM ***

This company is a big scam!!

I've never heard of someone actually working for them, but only scammed by them.

The site they have is really cute.
Angel Pin Creations : http://angelpin.net/index.html ←Do not trust them!!!This company is a big scam!!

They require a starter kit fee, and they say they have a "money refund guarantee" once the assembler is approved.
However, none of the assemblers are approved!

The company sends cheap materials, so you can not make what they are asking you to.
Then, you realize that you want to get your money back, but none of the company workers answer the phone, or they just give some excuse.

Even if you are approved, which I really doubt, you also need to pay more money to start!!

Here are other people's comments about Angel Pin Creations from Rip-Off Report...http://www.ripoffreport.com/searchresults.asp?q1=ALL&q5=angel+pin+creations&q4=&q6=&q3=&q2=&q7=&searchtype=0&submit2=Search%21

I didn't try this company because of all these warnings by people who were scammed by Angel Pin Creations.
You can see how much money they lost!!!

As I posted before, please check RipOff Report before you start getting into some companies!!!

*From the beginning, I doubted this company's legitimacy and thought it was a scam because they said the workers can not come and see the company even though they may be in the area. (Because, there ISN'T a company!)

Please check the update also: http://floridalifelilycat.blogspot.com/2010/03/update-angel-pin-creations-scam.html

About Magical Gift Company...

When you see Magical Gift Company's site, you might be excited thinking about how much you can earn per shippment.

It depends on which products you will choose, but it is not that easy...

Once, you are approved, you still need to be focused on high quality work.

They will reject the ones that the company thinks are low quality.

As you make approved products, and create high quality pieces, the amount of pieces that you can send in will be increased.
I started to work about a year ago, and for one type of product, I made a total of $230 so far.Yes, I earned $230 in a year on one product.

They pay per piece. ($1)
Some of you might say, this is a labor job.

Well... It might be.

But, it is still a legitimate work at home job, and you can make a little extra money.
Once, you can handle many products & make many pieces, this company can be a larger income source, though!!

Magical Gift Company (Crafting Work at Home)

I actually work for these people:
New England Crafters & Magical Gift Company
So, I know that this company is legitimate.
I like crafting, but the products they have are so difficult!!!

It took me to be 4 months to be approved for one product!!!Some people took more than 6 months!

Also, there is a starter fee...Yes, this made me worry at first.
Like other scams, I thought they'd take money and run away...

But, the starter fee ($49.95) is going to refund after you start working them and make 250 pieces.
And even though you bought this starter kit, you still need to buy some little things yourself; for example, glue gun, needle, thread, pens, etc. The only things you can buy that are pre-approved for reimbursement are paint and shipping costs.
(They clearly state this agreement in the policy.)
Some people might think Magical Gift Company is a scam because of this even though NEC strongly suggests that you read their policy.

The good thing is they never say quit because you haven't been approved.

It's an unlimited starter kit, also.
Some crafting companies require more fees after you use all the material!!!

The products are very cute, too!
And, the people who work for this company are very kind & helpful.
You can call them anytime and they will help you to improve your products and how to get approved.

They've also got 31 products!!
The products involve sewing, hand sewing, but also, they have non-sewing projects, too.

It is good for moms looking for a work at home job.

National Magazine Exchange

Home based telesales.

One of my friends works at home through this company.

My Real Estate Road to Success

This site is not for a work at home job.

But, I thought this guy is doing a good job.
He is studying real estate, and trying to get a license right now.

http://thefocusgroup.weebly.com/

I know that the a real estate job is difficult in this economy, but as the economy comes back, this job will be good to have I believe...

And, he found a good & cheap on-line school for real estate agents in Florida.
This college is about $100!
If you are interested, you can make a comment or send him an email.
I think he will be glad to answer any questions.
(I sent him an email before, and he helped me to find a cheap & good college...)

While you are working at home, it might be good to have some skills...
I am, myself, going back to college, too while doing ad posting job & home craft jobs.

Of course, its a free site with study guides and lot's of info about how to get your real estate license and the north pinellas and pasco county real estate markets.

I will post about crafting job at home next time!!

DayTranslations.com

This is another translation site.

Day Translations, Inc. is here.

You just need to submit your information to them and they list your name to the companies that are looking for translators.

If they like your job experience or whatever, they directly send you email about jobs they have. For example, they want to know your houly or page rate and turnaround time.

But, I got first respond about 6 months after I submitted my job info. I guess this site is not the kind of job that you can start right away.
So, you send them your rate, date, etc.
If they like it they will contact you.

Don't worry if you are not fluent in another language.
Of course, you need good knowlege and skill for the other language, but sometimes, I can tell that they are NOT fluent in the second language but they still have jobs!!

Work at Home Lists on Craigslist

Sadly, I found that many of the job posts on Craigslist for telecommuting are scams.

Some of them posted completely different titles as their work; for example, Need Bookkeeper ASAP!!

I sent one of them an email.
But, the guy said that this position is unfortunately taken; HOWEVER, he said he has another position available for me. And asked me to do their survey(?) and send him the fee to start working.

I was very glad that I didn't send him my resume.

Even if it looks like it's true, don't send your resume at first!
Don't give them any important information!

Many of them are just fishing for your information so they can spam you or sell your information to marketing companies or telemarket you.

Beware!

Work at Home Millionares

One night when I was watching TV, I watched a paid program about working at home.

They said, "Buy these books!! You can be the next millionare!!!".

What a scam...
Well, they kept reducing the price as they approached the end of the show, and talking about the wonderful life of millionares.
But, I watched the "work at home scams" program the same day and the same channel on 10 connects.

If, if there is an easy way to be a millionare, why does 10 connects news warn people about work at home scammers?

Please don't waste your time and money.

It looks like you can earn money over the Internet while you are sleeping and you can also have a big dream house by the beach.

I can't stand to watch those scams.

THEY earn money over the Internet, not you.

Sometimes, they say there's a 100% money back guarantee if you are not satisfied!!
But, if you order those, be careful before you open the box.

In the policy or whatever they tell you to read before you open the package, read it carefully.
I had a purchase that said that if I sent it back without opening the package, I'd get a 100% money back. However, if I opened it, they only give you back half of the price!

Nobody can be a millionare so easily, but you can have a nice house and great life by being honest and working hard.

To Help Promote an Adult Site/Product...

It is hard to get a job marketing sexual/adult sites and products.

There are a lot of catches when posting ads on craigslist because of the restrictions CL has for adult content.

But, a lot of people owning or operating adult sites need workers to help in marketing.

They ether want you to make their site look good or advertise their products or many other different things.

Some of the jobs require you to work at night even though its through the Internet.
You might want to think about all the catches before you decide to work!

To Bid Successfully on Projects!

When you bid on a job, you can send a private massage to the employer.

You also are able to make a comment to them, but your PM(posted message) is important, so make sure to make it a good one!
Make sure to briefly highlight your experience as well as a realistic and competitive time that you can finish the project. If you are just starting out, its good to bid kind of low.

***Comment***

You write about your general information in the comment; for example, how you are good at it, or how you have a lot of experience for the job, etc.
**A good comment is short and catchy! --> Why? --> Because, most employers want to know the details and they will contact you (hopefully) about the job and you can close the deal!

***PM***

-If you have experience for the job, of course, you can write about it. When you write about the job history, it is good to include the evidence: links, web sites, documents, etc.

-If you don't have experience for the job, you need to persuade the employee. (But don't mention that you have not done it yet!!!)
---> For example, if you are going to be an ad poster, make ads on Craigslist, Kijiji, Backpage, or whatever sites the employer wants to post to. And include those ads' links in the PM. It is good to make over 3 ads so that the employer can see that ads are not flagged or ghosted.

And, here is the thing...

You will realize that many people from overseas bid very cheaply. (You can tell by their comments that they are not fluent in English.)
That is their skill in bidding:They are not native English speakers, but they can work cheaply.

Now, you don't want to work cheaply, so strongly point out your ability to 'connect' with Americans or whomever, because that is most likely who the advertiser is marketing to!

Many employers (60%) only care about how cheap you bid, but 40% of them do care.
They don't want any language problems when posting the ads and they don't want other communication problems when giving directions.
So, I always make sure to emphasize that I'm a native English speaker!

Dropshipper

You can be a dropshipper.

You advertise the products, and when customers order your products, you simply contact the company you work with and they ship the products directly to the customer.

So, what you have to do is:
1. Pick the products you want to sell.
2. Advertise them on the internet.
*You can set the price. The company already set the cost price of the item, so anything more than that price is really up to you.
3. Collect the money from customer.
4. Contact the company.

For the shipping, you don't need to do anything.

Some of the companies do not require a fee to start.
But, of course, to sell the product is not so easy.

I haven't tried it myself yet, but I know a guy doing the dropshipping.
He advertised a DVD on Craigslist, and was selling a lot.
I think if you chose a good product, it might be easy but if not, you might be wasting your time.
Also, many prospects don't want to buy anthing (especially on CL) that is not from a local vendor, so you have to get past that somehow.

Good luck!

TranslatorsCafé.com

If you are bilingual or have a good knowledge of other languages, a translators' job might be good for you.

TranslatorsCafé.com is here.

TranslatorsCafé.com has many language translation job listings.
You can bid on the posts and if you are chosen, the employer gives you directions on how to complete the job.

I did it before, and I was scammed.
The person said, please translate this document and I'll check it and send the money.
I sent her the completed document, and she never got back to me.

Whenever somebody says its a trial but wants you to send a full document, you need to be careful.

You might end up doing the work they need for free!

Craigslist Ads Poster

A lot of companies are looking for posters for Craigslist ads.
Although this is forbidden by the craigslist terms of service, craigslist is such an awesome marketing tool, companies have hired outsiders on a per-ad basis to post them.

This is how it works:

1. Find a company or individual through whatever means (GetAfreelancer.com or oDesk is good) that wants ads posted. They pay between .10 to .50 per ad depending on the type of ad and what category the company wants it posted in.

2. Get the ad material and list of cities/categories from the employing company.

3. Start posting the ads.

4. It seems simple at first, but as you do more ads and post in different categories it becomes more difficult.

You get problems like flagging(when another user flags your ad for some reason) or ghosting (when you post the ad but it never appears on CL). More about that later and ways to get around it.

5. You submit a spreadsheet with the links to your ads to the employer, who usually pays through paypal.

*Note: this is the simple gist of it, there can be more problems and other ways to go about it:There is software to aid in ad posting (ezadposter etc.)

There are malicious other users who want to flag you just because you're trying to make some money. You will probably have to get the phone-verified accounts which verify each CL account to a phone number (there is a maximum number of ads you can post with each account).

Craigslist is changing the system constantly, so you have to be able to manage your strategy.

I never done it before, but I could manage it.
It's good to try!
Good luck!

Ripoff Report

Ripoff Report is also a good source to evaluate the sites.

Ripoff Report Site is here.

People who had trouble with companies posted their opinions there.
It's always good to know about the company before you'll start working.

Do not be the victim of scammers!!

Better Business Bureau

When I search a job and find one, I always go to BBB.com.

BBB.org is here.

You can find any complaints regarding the company in question.

A lot of companies have complaints but the Better Business Bureau (BBB) also shows the steps taken or other actions taken by the companies to correct any wrongs.
You can see for yourself if the company seems fair or not.

oDesk.com

I am actually not sure about this site.
I heard that this site is good.

oDesk.com is here.

It seems like the same as GetAFreelancer.com.

But what is good about this site is that the job seeker can take a test from them for free, and post the score as evidence!

About oDesk Test → http://www.odesk.com/tests

You can retake the test also, so, if you get a good score, the odds of you landing a job are higher!!

Take the test as many times as you like.
oDesk provides many different type of tests.
You can choose which different category to be tested in.

GetAFreelancer.com

This site has a lot of jobs!!

GetAFreelancer.com is here.

I worked couples of the jobs they provided for a year.

The contracters themselves list their job features.

When you find some jobs you want, you bid on them, and if the contracters like your job history or bid, they contact you directly.

You don't need to pay GetAFreelancer to start choosing jobs, however when you were chosen for a job, you need to pay about $20 to GetAFreelancer.

BUT, beware!!

In the lists, sometimes there are scams!!
They let you work, and never pay!

For example, I had a guy he asked me to post some ads for 3 days for free.
If I did it perfectly, he pays after those days.
He never got back to me after the job is done.
He acted like he wants to sell his car, but he actually wanted to post his ebay sites.

Other than that, they provide many jobs listings.

It's free to join and free to bid.

I think it's a good site!

GenuineJobs.com

Genuinejobs.com provides many job listings.

GenuineJobs.com is here.

Almost all of them are for working at home.

They do require different skills, like web design, programming, virtual assistants, that sort of thing.
I have never seen one for data entry, though.

It's free to join.

They also provide a free service that sends you up-to-date job emails. It's kind of annoying to get spam from the companies, but they don't send that many emails. Maybe twice a month...

Paydotcom.com

I found "Paydotcom" through "Process at Home".

Paydotcom.com is here.

You can choose from many different products, and advertise them on other sites.

It looks simple, but there is a catch.

You won't get paid until prospects or customers click your ads AND buy the products.
There are many sites that give you free places to put your ads.
I tried those, but those sites are too minor, so of course, nobody sees the ads.
If you want to put your ads on major sites, you really have to pay for it.

It is actually difficult.

This is through paydotcom.
They don't give you the ads, they give you links of the products.
You can post just links or make them into ads.

Once you get paid and know how to do it, it might be good for you.
But I made no money through them...

365jobs4u *** A Big SCAM!! ***

As everyone says, "365jobs4u" is a big scam.

I am telling you because I was one of the people that actually tried to work it.
The required fee is very cheap, I paid about $6 to start.(NONREFUNDABLE!!)

You have many choices of work to do such as copy&paste, traditional data entry, grobal data entry, etc.

I chose traditional data entry.

They sent me a bunch of pdfs.
What I needed to do was to type the pdf articles into Word documents.
They said that I had to complete them in a week.

I mentioned a bunch...I forgot how many they were...but it was a lot!!!

Even if you are a really good&fast typist, you need to work your ass off!

So, I started.
I had no time to think about if this company will cheat me for the $6...

I kept doing it for 3 days, and my boyfriend started to doubt about this company.

Because, the article that I was typing had no meaning.
They look like they were taken from many articles and pasted together.

He checked the company out on the internet, and found out that this company is a complete scam.

I just spent time for nothing!

I hope nobody will be scammed by them again.

My Data Team

You can find many good comments about "My Data Team".

My-Data-Team is here.

You need to pay about $49.95 to join.

I tried it.

I don't know if it is really good or not...

You can get a lot of information from them about on-line earning.
I found many sites which provide real on-line jobs, but I also found a big scam from the site they recommended.

Process at Home

The first time I tried a work at home opportunity, I visited "Process at Home".
I paid about $200 for it.
They guarantee a 100% refund whenever you want to quit.

I tried it, but it was a bunch of E-books.
I felt that I paid $200 just for E-books.

I got nothing from the site, however you can try it, because their refund policy is good.

I ended up quitting, and I got all my money back.
So, it's not bad if you want to try it.

Scams...

First, I tried to find many companies that look legitimate.
I didn't know that there are so many scams!!

They ask you for money, which some of them say is refundable if you didn't like it, or nonrefundable.

I tried both.

What I want to say is, beware!!!

Every company looks really legitimate, but a lot of them are complete scams.

To find the legitimate company...

I tried a couple of the so called "Work at Home"companies.
Some of them are legitimate, but a lot of them are scams.

I want to share information about them with you.
